Il rotore in particolare, costruito in Zaion, è studiato per ridurre al minimo il peso e l’inerzia di rotazione, pur mantenendo una robustezza ancora maggiore rispetto agli Air Rotor “standard”. Anche la frizione ATD-L è di ultima generazione ed ha prestazioni di sensibilità e precisione mai viste prima: reagisce in modo ancora più dolce e morbido alla sollecitazione iniziale rispetto alle ATD tradizionali, settandosi poi rapidamente ma sempre in modo graduale sul brake impostato. The Daiwa 23 Airity was developed according to the new Airdrive Design construction concept for the construction of the rotor, spool, bail arm and shaft, borrowed from the brand new top of the Exist range. The rotor in particular, built in Zaion, is designed to minimize weight and rotational inertia, while maintaining even greater strength than the "standard" Air Rotors.
